About Us
EurekaVision was founded by Rick Bowers, a writer, editor, proofreader and communications consultant with more than 30 years’ experience.
Rick has worked in a wide variety of writing and managerial positions, including as a manager of communications and public relations, executive editor, branding lead, head of magazine advertising, proposal writer, grant writer, social media lead, magazine founder and ghostwriter.
Rick’s education and broad experience in communications have given him a rich perspective on the qualities that make any kind of message engaging and effective. His passion in business is sharing that knowledge and experience with others.
As a writer, editor, ghostwriter, and communications and public relations manager, he has overseen the production of numerous magazines, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, flyers and marketing materials. In addition, his public relations efforts have succeeded in earning coverage in numerous media outlets, including the BBC, ABC, msnbc.com and The Huffington Post.
Rick’s communications experience ranges from strategy, planning and conceptualization to the hands-on production, management and distribution of both print and digital media. He has the longtime proven ability to work well with others and to produce high-quality products while meeting client deadlines.
Rick earned an MS in communications (journalism/news-editorial) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
